A native of Richmond, VA, Rev. H Lee West, III answered the call to formal ministry at the age of 23. Rev. West graduated from Hampton University in 2009 with honors earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. In 2013 he graduated with honors from the prestigious Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University earning a Master in Divinity. Rev. West has served the body of Christ in various capacities such as Youth Leader, Young Adult Minister, Men of Iron Leader, Associate Minister of Congregational Growth, and Pastor. In April of 2019 Rev. West answered the call to serve as pastor of Union Branch Baptist Church, in Amelia, VA. The foundation of The Lord’s ministry in him and everything that Rev. West has been called to do is the belief in Christ Jesus and Prayer. He often says we can preach and sing all day however, Jesus said in Matthew 21: 13 “My House shall be called a House of Prayer.” All Rev. West has achieved he attributes to the Grace of God and for the Glory of God. Rev. West currently resides in Chesterfield County, Virginia with his wife Mary and they have three children: Ava, Harmony, and Levi.
